Adopt a American Staffordshire Terrier (short coat)

American Staffordshire Terrier (short coat) Dog

Valley the Dog needs a home

I was found abandoned….um, in the “valley" of Los Angeles (hence my name, very creative). After an intensive search for my original home, then spay and lots of TLC, I started looking for my forever home where I will be loved and protected for the rest of my life. I’m generally a happy girl, and get along with my canine foster brother and love snuggling with my human foster dad. Once I get to know you, I’m like that all the time. It’s the initial meeting that sometimes flips me out, and I make faces and noises that temporarily make me look scary, even though I have no intention of attacking. I guess I feel I have to protect myself. I know, I know….I’ll never be adopted if I keep doing this, but it's really a catch 22, ya know? I just need someone to adopt me and convince me that I don’t have to protect myself anymore. I’m very well-mannered in the house; actually my foster dad says I’m “perfect.” And I know all my basic commands my previous foster mama taught me. Would you give me a chance and let me blossom in your life?
